Mark uses observation and analysis skills to identify clients' strengths and weaknesses, and tailors lesson plans to build on strengths and to eliminate weaknesses. As a part of Mark's teaching methodology, he asks his clients to analyse hands that they had recently played, and questioning decisions that were made at the table. This method has proved to be successful in improving the client's analytical skills when at the bridge table.
Online tuition usually involves 1 hour of set hands with commentary via skype or telephone, followed by a 2 hour game online. This is followed up by detailed email analysis and setting of questions related to previous or future lessons.
Each lesson is specific for that client's needs and is unique.
Mark can also be employed as a partner for a session/tournament or holiday. After the end of each session, Mark prepares analysis of the client's game, and Mark will then identify an area for either a discussion with the client or future lesson topic.
